Hello SHOW MAGAZINE,

My name is Chanel Luxe and I am a Canadian woman with a Jamaican background, who resides in Toronto. I am a Virgo and if anyone knows one, that means Im caring, passionate and a hard worker. A lot of successful women are Virgos! I also have a beautiful son who I adore and has made my life very worthwhile. He is my world. I keep God and my family first and strive to be a better person than I was the day before.

I am a career-focused woman as a Dental Assistant, but I enjoy designing clothing. I began making clothes for myself when I was much younger and eventually branched out to create unique clothing for others. Art was my first love before it was fashion. When I started to love the beauty of fashion, I then began getting myself into modeling. SHOW is very sexy and I think its great for women to express their seductive side if they wish to. Women are sexy by nature. Everyone is built differently and I love my slim frame and appreciate my youthful appearance.

I have been a fan of SHOW Mag for many years and have always wanted to work with Sean and be a part of the magazine. Im glad that I finally had the opportunity to do so and had a great time. I recreated my own lingerie pieces for the shoot and enjoyed getting my hair and make up done by the glam squad.

How did you get the name Chanel Luxe?
Chanel is my real name from the designer Coco Chanel. And luxe is luxury in French. Everyone likes luxury, but not many can have it. Im hard to get.


Whats your best feature?
Ive always been told I have a nice smile, but I love my legs. Im only 57 and they can look so nice and long with the right pair of heels on. ;)

What do you look for in a man?
He must be funny, caring and intelligent. Someone who will open doors and be chivalrous. A real man knows what a MAN is and will act as such.

What are your favorite features on a man?
I like tall and athletic bodies. Id like for a man to be able to lift me up. And the idea of having to reach up for a hug is cute to me.

What are some of your highlights as a model?
My highlights as a model are being in fashion shows, fashion shoots, an Eye Candy Calendar, working with Director X for Sean Paul and Estelles videos, and a collabo video with Drake and a local Toronto artist, which X also directed.

How do you see your career progressing from posing for SHOW?
I see myself being successful, period. Whether its my career in the health field, fashion or modeling, my ultimate goal is to become a successful businesswoman. Im just trying to be the best woman and mother I can be.

Would you shoot for SHOW in the future?
Absolutely!
