Wiz Khalifa’s tribute song, “Black N Yellow”, just may not be the hottest thing coming out of Pittsburgh, PA after all. Although she needs no introduction in the ‘Burgh, Chrystal Lang is now aimed at taking the industry by storm. Of African American, Irish, and Native American descent, the caramel temptress plans to market herself to a mainstream audience through national print, TV, and other commercial work. As one of Pittsburgh's top glamour and promotional models, Chrystal has done a wide array of local promotional, TV, and print work for major clients including Playboy Girls of Golf, Steel City Sports World, XL Energy Drink, Ruff Ryders, Atlantic Records, Slip N Slide Records, and the Willie Stargell Award Ceremony. As a fresh face, Chrystal is planning to take the industry by storm. Her aspirations include everything from magazines such as Maxim and Playboy to music video work and reality TV. Not planning to limit herself to any one genre, Chrystal will approach rock videos and mainstream mags with as much fervor as she would hip hop and urban opportunities. “I think I have a universal look.” says the sultry vixen. “I believe I have just the right look and body type to be attractive to a range of nationalities.” Not only eyeing the modeling and acting industry, Chrystal plans to release a book of poetry in the near future. Also a ghost writer, Chrystal writes pop and r&b song lyrics for local artists but plans to expand into the mainstream music industry. If allowed the chance., writing for artists such as Keyshia Cole, Ashlee Simpson, Cassie, and similar new and upcoming artists would be a dream come true. Designing clothes is also a passion for Chrystal and something she has been thinking about taking seriously over the years. “ There are so many things I feel that I am capable of doing.” says Chrystal, “My true goals are to be happy and successful in whatever it is that I might be doing.”
