"A gift from above"

My name is Lakeisha Brown. Id like to thank Sean Cummings for allowing me to express myself according to my new beliefs. I followed a life of what Id seen, and heard on TV. I always thought being in the flashing lights was going to get me where I needed to be. Not knowing the future and hope that god had planned for me. It was 4 months ago when I had a spiritual encounter with the lord. I thought my life was ending, but it wasnt god was calling me home. He was ready to fill the void that I had in my life. I am humbling myself to let you know that the road to success does not have to be through stardom, but an inner peace with god. God personally said to me "I love you, you are my daughter, and I am your father I will show you the way" I am glad not only to have found a man in Christ, but also a father who will guide me through all my trails, and have the answer to all the questions I have about life. Through the grace of god I have a new birth and it makes me cry when I think of what he has done for me. This is not just a story, but a testimony of Gods love, and grace in my life.
