My name is Carlyn, not to be confused with Carolyn. I just hate that. I was born in Laguna Beach California and raised in San Juan Capistrano, Santa Barbara, Buelton Ranch, Dove Canyon, Belmont Shore, Westminster, Mission Viejo, Long Beach, Laguna Nigel, San Diego, and my favorite, San Clemente. I was somewhat of a nomad growing up and conquering the southern California Unified School District, tallying my school transfers at 14. And still today I cannot stay put for very long. I have been in Los Angeles for about 3 years now and love the fast paced city life, although I feel the itch of a new city coming on. I have kind of fell into the world of modeling by networking and representing myself. Booking one job has blessed me with another job, thankfully.
Its been a real kick watching this whole new life unravel before me. I love watching the transformation that happens in makeup and hair and then ultimately in photo shop! God Bless Air brushing... haha. I am not sure where these sexy pictures are going to take me if I just ride it out, but by taking control of my destiny, I want to change the modeling world for us shorties... yes I am talking about being 54 and not even getting a chance to walk into certain auditions! I am over reading the calls for 58 and over, because lets face it tall is not always beautiful and short is not always stout. Weve changed plus size modeling, now lets change the height requirements. Besides taking over The Janis Dickinsons and Americas next top models of the world, just kidding...he he. I spend my time at the gym, traveling, reading, hanging out with my amazing friends, and searching for the next fun and inspiring job!
