Growing up in the Midwest, I always felt I was lacking adventure and excitement. So, I decided to join the military. I figured I like to blow stuff up and get a little dirty every now and then. During my training, I became an expert marksman qualifying on the M-16 and 9mm. I still go to the range to this day. Surprisingly, blowing things up wasnt enough for me.

After graduating from college, I packed up my bags and moved to Washington, D.C. to be a White House Intern. The political arena had more exciting twists and turns than my military career. I was able to meet one of the women I admire, Dr. Condoleezza Rice and a host of other political figures and dignitaries.
