Hello everyone my name is Keonia Jsawta (better known as NIA) I was born in the sunny state of California and raised in the City of Compton. People always ask me what is my ethnicity. I am Mexican, German and African American I am proud to be mixed with 3 amazing cultures.
One thing about myself that I love most is Im not only beautiful on the outside but Im beautiful within. I adore my smile and wonderful personality. Ive been told "To know me, is to love me”. I have the biggest heart, I give the greatest advice and I am the sweetest, most caring and supportive, smart encouraging person you will ever meet. I try my best to be the best role model that I can be, not only for my family but for others as well. I try to give people hope and show them they can overcome all obstacles and live out their dreams. No matter where you come from or what your surroundings are, you can achieve all things that you set out to do in your life, as long as you believe in yourself and your talents.
Modeling is something that I have not been doing for long but I love the journey it has taken me on so far. However, acting is my true passion. I enjoy every minute in front of the camera. I have goals that I am accomplishing and dreams that I am achieving. There is more to me than just a pretty face and a good-looking body. I spend most of my time volunteering at local children hospitals, speaking to the youth within my community, or doing charity events while also running my foundation: N.L.A.F which stands for Nias Lovely Angles Foundation. I always felt I never had to be famous to make a difference in someone elses life. When I do get free time I enjoy writing, cooking and traveling and spending lots and lots of time with my family and friends.
When it comes to love I love hard I cant help it. Im a Libra. When it comes to men lets just say I want my next man to be God fearing, honest and supportive of me, and everything that I am doing with modeling and acting. I need him to understand and know that no matter how many magazines or shoots that I am doing, his eyes are the only ones that matter to me and he has nothing to ever worry about, because he is MY MAN.
When I am in a relationship, Im in it 100%. Its just him and me against the world. I support him with everything that he does and I ask that he support me with everything that I do. I enjoy the simple things in a relationship like his touch, his kiss or the way he makes me laugh or just the way he looks at me. I enjoy being goofy and silly and watching Sports Center and playing video games with him from time to time. When it comes to romance lets just say I love to be surprised xoxo... I love treating my man like a king. Im a fun, outgoing person and I just want my man to be the same. If I cant have fun with you then you arent my type of guy.
It was such an honor to be in SHOW Latina. This is my first time ever being in a nationwide magazine but not my last! I want to say thank you Sean Cummings and Nick Saglimbeni and everyone one at Slickforce Studio for making this experience for me a life long memory.
