Carissa Rosario was raised in Boston, but not even a New England winter could keep the ice from melting when this half Puerto Rican, half Greek sashayed down the runway. Carissa started modeling at a young age, landing her first photo shoot at the tender age of ten. She traveled around the US competing in numerous pageants, taking home five titles. In October 2009, Carissa placed 2nd runner up in the Miss Latina USA pageant. The skills she learned from the pageant circuit made her transition to becoming a spokes model a breeze. She represented AMERICAN DREAM for three years.

Her next big break came in Los Angeles hosting the Telemundo show COMO TV, which she parlayed into work with other various Spanish Networks as a host, dancer and model. Carissa is currently a spokes model for Hot Import Nights and is touring across the US this summer. Carissas other passion besides modeling is music. She is currently in the studio recording. Keep your ears open, she is expecting to release her first single late 2010.
