SHOW #17
Im a 23 yr old Australian born and raised in the outback. I spent my highschool years living in a beautiful coastal town called Byron Bay, and now Im spending my 20s traveling and living the city life!
Ahh, not a great deal has changed since my last appearance in the White issue! Ive made the move from a small coastal town to the city of Melbourne! Its definately a contrast to my hometown, but I guess thats what makes it so interesting! Theres so much culture in Melbourne and so many places to discover and explore. My favourite place to date is a beautiful rooftop bar called The Supper Club. The first night I discovered this place they played Ray Charles and Nat King Cole for the duration of the night. I was in heaven! I also love the anonymity that comes with moving to a city.
However I do miss the beauty of Byron Bay. I flew back for a week over the Christmas holiday and spent a day surfing with friends at a beautiful secluded beach just south of Byron Bay. We had to trek through a rainforest to get to this beach, but when we stepped onto the sand it was like a scene from a movie. And to top it off, we swam with a massive pod of wild dolphins. I always get told that Im crazy for leaving Byron Bay!
Im now in my final years of my law degree, which is exciting, but theres also a sense of uncertainty. Moving to the city has really exposed me to more competition and success than I was exposed to in Byron Bay; which is great as it acts as an incentive to do well, but also makes you question your competence. However I tend to be a bit of an over-achiever when it comes to my studies, so Im sure Ill be fine.
On a lighter note, I now have a beautiful 5month old puppy called Coco! Shes a black Mini Foxy X Short-Haired Pomeranian with two white paws; possibly the most adorable dog youll ever see! I didnt really have any intention to buy a puppy, but as soon as I saw her I fell in love with her. She was the runt of the pack, and after I came back after 4 days and she was the only one remaining I figured it was a sign to take her home (haha!).
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the spread, and maybe youll see me in another issue soon!
