My name is Candace Cabrera, and I am 28 years old and currently live in Atlanta Georgia. I am best known as Black from Flavor of Love 3, but have also been featured in several videos from Lil Wayne, Lloyd, Gucci Mane, Mario and Capone. I just recently worked on HBOs show Entourage. I am also currently doing an ad campaign with Strapped Condoms with ads appearing in Ozone, and other Hip-Hop magazines. I have also been featured on the cover of Smooth magazine, Hustlenomiks, and a spread in Dime Piece. I will have to say that this shoot with SHOW I think by far is my sexiest. I truly enjoyed working with Sean and Nick and I want to thank them so much for giving me this wonderful spread.
I have always been the adventurous type. I think that comes with me being a Sagittarius. I always try to live life to the fullest and love exploring new avenues. One of those was the realm of TV. Its been a hard process trying to shake off the negative stereotypes that come along with doing a reality television show, especially Flavor of Love. People tend to look at us as uneducated women of low class and stature, which for the most part is far from true. I myself graduated from the University of Kentucky with two degrees, come from a wonderful well-rounded family and have always tried to carry myself with class and dignity. The show for me was simply a new experience I wanted to partake in. I never planned or wanted to model or be on TV, the opportunity just presented itself and I took advantage. I have enjoyed every moment of it though at times it can be very trying. Dealing with media and blogs and people criticizing you from way you look to the moves you make, used to make me insecure in the beginning but over time I learned to really love myself and be happy with my decisions. In the end the only ones that truly matter are ourselves and those we love.

I will say that I have been very blessed and am fortunate to have experienced so much at my age. So many doors have opened and opportunities have risen and I have always tried to capitalize on them all. I have met a lot of wonderful people along the way and I cherish all of the friendships and relationships I have built. I have traveled the world and seen so much that I can only be grateful for each and every moment that God has given me on this Earth.

To me, life is a long journey with different paths and experiences taking us to new places. And at the age of 28 I am now truly comfortable with who I am, where Ive been, and where I am going. It is these many journeys in my life that have molded me into the woman that I am today. I grasp my experiences to the fullest and look forward to the many more that await me in the future.
