My name is Yami De Jesus and Im Dominican. Yeah Baby! Republica Dominicana or as its also known: Quisqueya La Bella and with good reason. My country is a beautiful and colorful tapestry of Spanish, Haitian, French and African influences. Dominicans are as hot as the Caribbeans Golden sun. As a child I lived in D.R. with my family. We later moved to New York City where I attended Dance school at Broadway Dance Center and participated in modeling and art shows, activities which my mom encouraged. My Hero is my brother King George De Jesus, a Leukemia survivor and an inspiration to many. I am currently attending college in pursuit of a degree in Human Services because I believe that I have a lot to give. My objective is to establish a not-for-profit organization dedicating to finding a cure for cancer in addition to providing support to the families of cancer patients.
