This shoot with Erica Mena was the inspiration for the entire issue. Erica is a throw back to the glamour girls of years past. Looking at her takes you back to the days when cats used to hang posters of pin up girls in their dorm rooms. Coming into the shoot Erica looked very casual as most models do when they first arrive on set. Even after she was dressed in her first look with hair and makeup complete you had no clue what the shoot was going to be like. And in an instant, the second the photographer started to shoot, Erica turned on the sex appeal like no other model I had ever seen. She would change poses and her expression after every click of the camera, each look hotter and sexier than the next. You have to understand that during these shoots we can take over a hundred pictures. But thats Erica, a dynamo once the lights go on. It was because of her natural beauty on camera and the overt sexuality she brought to the shoot that I decided to design an entire issue around such images.
